Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician – Tulsa, OK Airgas is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair cryogenic pressure vessels, bulk gas delivery systems, piping and pumps across our industrial, medical and specialty gas markets. Key Responsibilities Installs and maintains cryogenic pressure vessels in customer locations. Performs installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on bulk gas delivery systems. Collaborates with the team to safely operate an Airgas vehicle and maintain truck inventory. Conducts site surveys to understand customer requirements and build installation plans. Install piping, trim, line regulator systems, manifolds, pumps and drives for medical and industrial applications. Set alarms for automatic emergency gas reserve systems at hospitals. Conducts preventative maintenance checks on a regular schedule. Manages hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations. Maintains a clean and safe workplace, attends safety meetings and follows Airgas safety procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum three years of relevant experience in gas systems installation or similar field. Valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship required. Valid Driver’s license and forklift operating certification. Ability to pass required testing, obtain Medical Certificate and Brazing License. Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence. Experience with troubleshooting and mechanical tools. Ability to interpret MSDS, safety rules, operating instructions, P&ID diagrams. Willingness to travel with overnight stays. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with bulk gas delivery systems. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, pumps or mechanical machinery.
