The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a strategic financial executive, providing the financial vision, operational insight, and leadership necessary to support the company's growth. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading all accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and developing financial strategies that align with the company's goals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing banking relationships, bonding capacity, insurance programs, audits, and tax coordination, as well as strengthening internal controls and financial processes. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial leadership experience within the commercial construction industry, with a background that includes serving in a senior financial role for a general contractor. Comprehensive knowledge of construction accounting, WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, and experience with construction ERP systems is essential. The role requires a professional with a proven track record of partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning, profitability improvement, and organizational growth. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills are also necessary, and a CPA designation is preferred. The CFO will be expected to mentor and develop the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
