Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN license
• At least one year of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator, adaptable to fast-changing environments
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Deliver high-quality care to patients transitioning from critical care to med-surg
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and detect changes in patient condition swiftly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
• Accurately document patient progress and interventions in the EMR
• Support a positive, team-oriented unit culture
