Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 12‑week assignment in Brooksville, Florida. Job Details Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 8‑hour days Employment Type: Travel Key Responsibilities Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions. Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning, reports malfunctions, and ensures compliance with radiation safety standards. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients following established protocols. Monitors patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs or other administered medications, intervening as necessary. Operates medical imaging equipment to create images of organs or body areas according to physician orders. Documents procedure details in patient records to ensure continuity of care and compliance. Follows hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure. Performs other duties as assigned within scope. Required Qualifications One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Other certifications or licenses per position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficient reading, writing, and verbal English communication. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities: capable of remaining in stationary position, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel, maintain positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, move during procedures. Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, manage irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail.
