Extensive training, real-world experience, hands-on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise. You'll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact our clients through exciting assignments. Make it count!In this internship you will:Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investorsSupport achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment successGain hands-on experience in security strategy, risk mitigation, and digital ethics while practicing Agile & LEAN methodologiesShare your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, supportive environmentsBuild a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peersMeet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorshipWhat it takes:In pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter requiredStrong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reportingCumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferredDemonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirationsEffective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environmentSpecial Factors:Vanguard is not offering sponsorship for this positionThis program is a full-time, paid summer internshipThe start date for this program will be May/June 2027About Vanguard:At Vanguard, we don't just have a mission—we're on a mission.
