Licensed Electrician

Licensed ElectricianPurpose: As a licensed electrician, with either your journeyman or master license, you will lead jobs, crews, projects, and apprentice electricians in order to complete electrical work on new construction projects, in both residential and multi-family buildings.Responsibilities:Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLeading and empowering individuals within your respective teamOversee quality within your project(s)Manage subcontractors being utilized for the jobInspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems according to applicable building codesCommunicate with builders, general contractors, and project managersBuild and maintain project schedules to meet deadlinesQualifications:Must have valid journeyman or masters license from the State Board of Electrical Examiners.Strong work ethicsLeadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your teamHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseExcellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managersAbility to work 6am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and an occasional SaturdayJourneyman and Master Electricians must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, local city and national electrical codes, practices, and procedures within the electrical fieldCore Physical RequirementsLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independentlyMobility and Agility: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periodsManual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precisionStamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments*Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
