HR Business Partner

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. As a member of the HR Shared Services Center, this position is responsible for initiating both complex and basic personnel actions, facilitating recruitment and hiring processes, and providing HR guidance, interpretation, and application for SHRA and EHRA employees in assigned departments. The HR Business Partner works with assigned units to gain an in-depth understanding of the needs, issues, and problems within each unit. This position is responsible for managing the customer relationships to ensure that service levels and performance standards are met. While this position has individual accountability and functions independently in carrying out assigned duties, they will also serve as back-up to other positions within the HR Shared Services Center. This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
