Program Manager – Automotive StampingLocation: Trenton, GA 30752 (Relocation accepted) Duration: Long Term (Potential Contract-to-Direct) Work Authorization: US Citizens and Green Card holders onlyJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in automotive stamping processes to lead program launches from planning through production. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, maintaining program timing, ensuring budget adherence, and delivering high-quality stamped automotive parts. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in cradle-to-grave program management, customer interaction, and technical understanding of GD&T, APQP, and equipment installation.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage automotive program launches from initial planning through full production.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met.Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer service.Oversee stamping operations, tooling, and process development specific to automotive components.Drive and lead APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities.Ensure synchronization between internal teams and customer timelines and deliverables.Act as the primary point of contact for customers, supporting quote development and ongoing communication.Support pilot builds, testing, run-at-rate events, and sign-off processes.Prepare and present program status updates, risk assessments, and solutions at milestone reviews.Monitor product lifecycle to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and performance.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing automotive program launches.Demonstrated experience with automotive stamping processes and parts.Proficient in project/program management, including timeline and budget control.Strong understanding of GD&T, APQP, tooling, equipment installation, and manufacturing standards.Experience managing full lifecycle of automotive parts — from quoting through production.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with internal teams and customers.Proficiency in using project management tools and software.Prescreening Questions (Required):Where and when have you worked directly with the automotive stamping process?Describe a recent automotive program that you managed from cradle to grave, including planning, tooling, and production launch.
