Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring KY or compact RN license and prior pre-cardiac cath and port management experience.

Details

• Telemetry unit supporting ED boarders awaiting inpatient beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:30
• Potential for block scheduling, though not guaranteed
• Float requirement between Edgewood and Florence campuses as well as Observation Units, MS, and MS/Tele units as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1.5 years of telemetry experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and interpretation required
• Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, and PICC line management
• Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care required
• COVID vaccination (medical/religious exemptions only) and flu vaccination required
