Sr. Engineer

P3+Uplift is engaged with a cutting-edge technology company in Des Moines, Iowa in the search for a Sr. Engineer with experience designing, developing and maintaining multiple embedded applications. This is a small team environment with resources to prove new concepts, design new features for current products already in the market and also lead and mentor a small team of Engineers. Our client builds IoT enabled software managing controls and devices. These automation controls are used for a variety of industries including warehouse, indoor farming, greenhouses, and businesses and homes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded Linux applications for remote-management and monitoring of the building automation control.
• Write automated unit tests
• Manage automated regression testing and build validation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
• Strong C++ skills (C++11 and C++14 are a plus)
• Object-oriented programming
• Qt 5 Framework, QML
• MQTT (preferred)
• Writing unit tests with QtTest (preferred)
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently or within a group
• Expert level communication and documentation skills
• Experience working with AI - Tools

Salary/Compensation:

$85,000 - $125,000 Salary will be based on years of experience and demonstrated skills Medical/Dental/Vision/401K Flexible remote workdays with approval Lunch meals included three days per week
