Operations Supervisor

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest high‑speed Internet & cable providers. Supervises daily warehouse operations, coordinating departments, maintaining workflow efficiency, and supporting P&L targets and operational objectives. This position involves supporting production processes, assisting with budget management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday‑Friday Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Assist in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling. Enforce operational policies and procedures to improve workflow efficiency. Offer suggestions for ongoing process enhancements and support the implementation of new procedures. Instill a culture of on‑time delivery, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards throughout the organization. Provide first level of support for any escalated issue during the work shift. Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a positive team culture and providing performance feedback. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate operations and address customer needs. Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved. Be responsible for meeting or surpassing daily key performance indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations. Engage in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment. Utilize warehouse management systems and technology tools to track inventory and monitor performance metrics. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors. Perform all other duties assigned based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a high‑volume production or distribution environment. Skilled in managing a busy workload, organizing tasks, and consistently meeting deadlines. Possess solid analytical and numerical abilities, capable of analyzing data and spotting trends to support decision‑making. Able to work independently and engage actively in warehouse operations. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and MS Office. Demonstrates effective leadership and interpersonal skills, able to communicate, motivate, and influence others within the organization. Exhibits problem‑solving skills and decision‑making capabilities, with a focus on achieving results and continuous improvement. Basic understanding of project management principles and the importance of meeting deadlines. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. General knowledge of OSHA standards. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (e.g., testing and repair), or forward logistics operation. Experience working with UKG and Kronos. Experience supervising temporary staff. A technical background is a plus. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Physical demands and working conditions for this position include the ability to lift, move, and operate equipment typical of warehouse operations, and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
