Join Our Caring CommunityThe Activity Coordination Assistant ensures the daily operations of the Wellness Center meets participant needs. The Activity Coordination Assistant performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks.The Activity Coordination Assistant schedules the Wellness Center meeting rooms and fitness rooms for pre-programmed classes/events. Plans, promotes and coordinates programs to provide members with a variety fitness activities. Responsible for greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, reviewing new patient registration, and entering new patient information into the computer system at an outpatient care site.You will report onsite, to the Clinic Administrator at 9727 Poteet Jourdanton Freeway, Suite 108, San Antonio, TX 78211.Use Your Skills to Make an ImpactRequired QualificationsMinimum of 1 year in a previous administrative roleValid driver license and dependable transportation necessaryExperience in a patient facing role involving structured and planned activitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a Health related fieldPrevious work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric populationExperience in Community health outreach programsNutrition knowledge2 years as a Personal Trainer and/or performing wellness and recreational activitiesAdditional InformationThis role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.Humana values personal identity protection.
