X-Ray/MRI Technologist

We are CVMC - Central Vermont Medical Center, a 1,700-employee community hospital located in Berlin, Vermont. We are looking for a qualified MRI & Xray Technician to join our Radiology team and contribute to patient care in a collaborative environment. Position Summary Under the administrative direction of the Radiology Director and Radiology Manager and the clinical direction of the Radiologist, Radiology Supervisor, or MRI Supervisor, the MRI/Xray Technician independently performs MRI procedures with minimal supervision. The Technician is also expected to cross‑train in other diagnostic imaging modalities as staffing needs require. Responsibilities Perform MRI imaging procedures with minimum supervision. Cross‑train and perform tasks in other diagnostic imaging modalities as required. Maintain competency in all trained modalities and keep documentation and certifications current on a yearly basis. Provide high‑quality patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed. Qualifications ARRT certification and an active Vermont State license required. Advanced MRI certification preferred. Hours / Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM. The position is a 72‑hour per pay period schedule with one day off during each two‑week pay period. Weekend on‑call rotation occurs every fifth weekend. Benefits Health, dental, vision, paid time off, and additional benefits are available. A sign‑on bonus ranging from $6,000 to $15,000 may be offered to new full‑time hires. Relocation assistance up to $6,000 is available for candidates moving more than 120miles.
