Job Description

Position Overview: Perform assembly tests / inspection of transformers at various locations in the assembly plants per established procedures. Monitor conformance to quality standards.

• Perform the following tests as required per established procedures: ratio (variety), resistance (variety), continuity, VFI, CT, and hipot (applied potential).
• Inspection of unit nameplates, stamp impedance value on nameplates, and secure nameplates to tested units.
• Perform visual inspection on interior of unit upon completion of testing.
• Completing various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.
• Collecting various types of data per established procedures as require.
• Understand and follow the EQMS policies.

Qualifications: Engineer, electronics Education requirement – bachelors degree in engineering, Associate of Electrical testing. An electrician – someone familiar with electrical theory and can read blue prints etc.
