Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $1,884 per week in Englewood, CO

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80110!

Key Responsibilities
Float between PACU units including Main, Surgical Robotics, and Orthopedic Surgery Center, covering Pre-Op and recovery for any patient receiving anesthesia
Provide post-anesthesia care across a high-volume unit with a combined total of approximately 59 bays
Manage a diverse patient population including high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVR, critical care overflow, and surgical cases such as spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics
Maintain patient ratios in accordance with

ASPAN standards

(expected 1 RN to 2 patients; same-day surgery patients may be up to 3 at a time)
Utilize GE Monitors and document care using the Meditech EMR system
Collaborate with RN and patient care tech staff in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid for the state of Colorado
Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Stroke care experience
Critical care experience in addition to PACU background
Flexible and outgoing personality well-suited to a high-volume, float-based unit
