Purpose

As an Oracle Fusion Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the technical aspects of the Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with a specific focus on the Finance business capability. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from the business, IT peers, internal and external functional consultants, and developers, to ensure the successful delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions that enable our business requirements. Your expertise will be critical in guiding the technical design, development, and integration of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications to achieve optimal performance and scalability.

The Role

• Lead the technical design and architecture of Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions within the Finance business
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Provide guidance and expertise on the configuration, customization, and extension of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications to meet specific user needs
• Configure, test, and deploy Oracle Cloud Financials modules, supporting all phases of the project lifecycle
• Guide business process optimization and transformation in the context of Oracle Cloud
• Develop solution blueprints, process flows, gap analysis, and technical documentation
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and provide recommendations for system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations
• Collaborate with development, integration, and security teams to ensure adherence to architectural designs and standards during the development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and provide timely resolutions
• Stay up to date with the latest Oracle Fusion Cloud releases, features, and industry trends to provide proactive recommendations and enhancements
• Support cutover, UAT, and production deployment, ensuring business readiness

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export control
• 15+ years in Oracle ERP experience with 7+ years in Finance
• Expertise and consulting field experience across several Oracle Fusion Financial modules, such as:
• General Ledger
• Payables/Receivables/Fixed Assets
• Cash Management & Expenses
• Tax Automation & Configuration
• Financial Reporting (SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio, Fusion Analytics Warehouse)
• Accounting Hub and Subledger Integrations
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, future-ready Oracle Cloud ERP Financials solutions aligned to industry and Oracle leading practices
• Proficiency with relevant Oracle utilities, tools, and middleware
• Excellent communication, documentation, and client management skills
• Comfortable working in the defense industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Oracle certifications in Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation methodologies, such as Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM)
• Background in aerospace, automotive, defense, or manufacturing industries
• Familiarity with other enterprise systems including MES, PLM

Pay Range

$127,260 - $209,070 USD
