We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join a public-sector healthcare organization in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to support commercial agreements, legal research, procurement-related matters, and day-to-day legal operations. This position is well suited for an individual who can manage competing priorities while helping maintain effective and compliant legal processes.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate a wide range of legal agreements, including service contracts, amendments, leases, and memoranda of understanding.
• Oversee the progression of contracts from intake through approval, signature, renewal, and ongoing obligation tracking.
• Maintain accurate records within the contract management platform and help ensure documentation remains current and accessible.
• Perform research on applicable federal and Texas laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to support legal guidance.
• Develop summaries, memoranda, and briefing materials that assist attorneys and organizational leaders with decision-making.
• Contribute to procurement and contracting activities by helping align documentation and processes with Texas public-sector requirements.
• Support dispute and litigation matters by organizing files, gathering records, and assisting with discovery-related responses.
• Preserve legal and contractual records in accordance with retention standards and internal governance practices.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and operational teams to improve coordination and consistency across contracting procedures.
