Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine activity around assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a food and beverage location. Monitor entrances, gates, and credential checks to help control access to authorized areas, document visitor activity, and report unusual conditions in accordance with site policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas and perimeter points, noting maintenance concerns, unsecured access points, and other unusual activity. Complete routine logs and incident reports, support shift handoffs with accurate information, and follow Allied Universal standards and site-specific procedures throughout the workday. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
