Job Summary Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with departmental standards and state regulations. The RN collaborates with medical providers and the care team, providing individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver patient‑centered care consistent with state and specialty nursing standards. Collaborate with medical providers and care‑team members to deliver individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, modeling the organization’s values and mission. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Document all care activities in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Teach patients and families about their medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into plain language. Educate patients and families on non‑medical follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes; prepare them for future self‑management. Implement evidence‑based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to exceed quality measures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver holistic patient treatment plans that promote recovery. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license and RN diploma. Basic Cardiac Life Support (RN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (obtained within 6 months of employment start date). Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse or Trauma Nursing Core Course (obtained within 1 year of employment start date). No travel required. No prior experience required.
