Responsibilities Assessment of patient needs and development of recovery plans. Deliver occupational therapy in facility settings. Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Teach patients and caregivers skills to promote independence and productivity. Collaborate with peers, make referrals, and coordinate care. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy accredited by ACOTE. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
