Clinical staff are encouraged to contribute to continuous improvement in patient services and education. Role Description The Medical Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Wichita, KS. This position supports clinicians by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, documenting patient histories, and assisting with allergy and asthma-related procedures. Day-to-day tasks include rooming patients, updating and organizing medical records, managing patient flow, and helping maintain a clean and safe clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will communicate with patients and families regarding visit procedures, basic instructions, and follow-up, while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. Additional responsibilities may include handling phone calls, scheduling, and coordinating with the front office to support smooth operations. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assisting tasks, including vital signs, patient intake, and clinical support. Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to allergies, asthma, and immunology. Experience working in a Medical Office setting, including coordination with front desk and clinical staff. Skill in providing direct Patient Care with a compassionate, inclusive, and professional approach. Ability to accurately maintain and update Medical Records in paper and/or electronic health record systems. Completion of a Medical Assistant program and/or relevant certification preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment and follow safety and infection-control protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
