Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential speech-language pathology services in a school-based setting near the Wilmington and Leland area. You’ll contribute to the development and success of students by working alongside experienced educators and participating in a supportive professional community. Two positions are currently open for certified SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY professionals.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current or eligible NC state licensure as an SLP; CCC or CFY status welcomed
• Background in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP services
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is valuable
• Experience managing caseloads of 45-50 students
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families

Key Duties:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and special education staff
• Effectively communicate student progress and strategies to families and caregivers
