Role Description The Quality Control Inspector is a full-time, on-site position based in Garland, TX. This role is responsible for inspecting sheet metal parts, assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement equipment; documenting inspection results; and identifying nonconformances. The Quality Control Inspector collaborates with production and engineering teams to communicate quality issues, support root-cause analysis, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions. The role also involves maintaining inspection records, following ISO 9001 procedures, and helping continuously improve quality processes and product reliability. Qualifications Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, including experience with visual, dimensional, and first-article inspections. Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management principles, ideally within an ISO 9001 environment. Effective Communication skills to clearly document findings and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and management. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and basic understanding of tolerances and GD&T. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. Prior experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or a related industry is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in quality or manufacturing are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
