Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages and conditions while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for employees and residents. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life, health, and comfort.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist with treatment programs
Record treatment in medical records
Communicates with interdisciplinary team members regarding resident progress, problems, and plans
Records daily treatments and labor according to facility procedure
Instructs families and staff in maintenance or home exercise programs
Coordinate with inter-departmental personnel

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements

Degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School of Occupational Therapy
Current NYS licensure
COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

Previous experience in post-acute/long-term care
