The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Scala, and Spark, and be adept at building and maintaining robust data pipelines using AWS services.Key Responsibilities:AWS Pipeline Experience — Hands-on with S3, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda across multi-stage data pipelines.Event-Based Architecture — Understand EventBridge rules and S3 event notifications. Know how to handle reruns from event-based triggers.Step Functions — Understand state machine scheduling and downstream job synchronization.Glue and Scaling — Comfortable with Glue job configuration and scaling. Self-researched Glue 4.0 Iceberg limitations when encountered.Data Quality — Built a validation component for data security; understands schema drift and backfill handling.Required Qualifications:Candidates must have a strong understanding of back-end development and data engineering principles, with proven experience in Java, Scala, and Spark.
