Job Summary:
The Nurse Educator position is located in Brooklyn, New York. This role involves providing education for labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), postpartum, and pediatric patient care. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires a strong clinical background with a focus on maternal-child health and educational expertise.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per shift, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program
  • New York State RN License
  • Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience
  • Masters in Education required
• Additional Information:
  • The candidate will support education for labor and delivery, NICU, postpartum, and pediatric settings.
  • The expectation is to provide coverage for all inpatient maternal-child health units, requiring strong skills in labor and delivery.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
