President And Chief Executive Officer

The client seeks a dynamic, visionary, commercially astute President and Chief Executive Officer to lead a premier waterfront convention center. This role sits at the intersection of tourism, economic development, and civic engagement, and will help advance the organization’s strategic economic impact for the region while delivering world-class experiences for clients, attendees, and the broader community. The client is a nonprofit public benefit corporation responsible for the management, operation, and marketing of a major convention and event facility. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide enterprise leadership across operations, sales, marketing, finance, capital planning, labor relations, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with a long-term vision for the destination. The CEO will lead a team of senior direct reports, including roles focused on finance, hospitality and client experience, infrastructure and modernization, marketing and communications, internal controls, and human resources and legal affairs.
