About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, RRT Must-Have: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID, utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address Description: The role involves providing respiratory care and neuro diagnostics. Candidates will be responsible for performing various procedures and treatments. Special procedures include bedside bronchoscopy and tracheostomy care. Competency in ECMO and nitric oxide therapy is required. Experience with lung transplant patients is preferred. Responsibility may include participation in rapid response teams. Familiarity with Adult Critical Care is necessary. Candidates must have experience with a patient ratio of 20 patients. Charting is to be done using the Epic system. This position requires floating as needed. Candidates are expected to handle high-stress scenarios effectively. The work environment includes caring for diverse patient populations: adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Knowledge of various medical equipment is essential. Candidates must comply with all vaccination requirements.
