Job Details Title: Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Job Summary Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness and an improved aesthetic environment for the Surgical department. Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks. Performs daily and terminal cleaning of operating rooms. Job Requirements Education: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Education: Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Experience: Environmental services experience: Preferred Essential Functions Performs routine cleaning of operating rooms, nursing units, departments, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways. Assists Operating Room team with case cart, equipment, and supply needs. Distributes, collects and processes linens. Assists with additional duties such as cryo-machine, autoclave room, ordering food. Assists with transport and moving patients. Gets inpatient beds, changes beds and gurneys as needed. Sets up rooms based on procedure and surgeon preference with proper equipment, beds and positioning adjuncts. Performs terminal cleaning of surgical suites daily; hallways, sterile processing, sterile core, sub-sterile rooms, anesthesia work room, ancillary rooms and other areas weekly.
