MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MRI imaging, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to MRI procedures. Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond to patient needs. Review images to ensure diagnostic quality and accuracy. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection control standards, and departmental policies. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Perform routine quality control and assist with MRI equipment maintenance. Administer contrast media when appropriate and in accordance with established protocols. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required. ARRT MRI Certification (MR) preferred or eligibility to obtain. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and patient care. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of MRI Technologist experience. Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips MRI systems. Knowledge of advanced MRI imaging protocols. Experience working in outpatient imaging centers or hospital settings.
