Forklift Operator - Torrance
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with Geodis Logistics LLC in Torrance. You will be responsible for operating reach forklifts and cherry pickers to safely transport, stack, and retrieve materials within a busy distribution center.
Shift Patterns
Second shift hours: 1:30pm to 10:00pm (may go to 12:00am)
Pay Rates
23.00 USD hourly
Must-have Requirements for Forklift Operator
Must be certified on reach trucks and cherry/order pickers.
Must have at least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
Desirable Requirements for Forklift Operator
Proficient in operating reach forklifts and cherry pickers for high-rack storage retrieval.
Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and maintain safety logs.
Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety protocols and warehouse operational procedures.
Strong attention to detail when picking and staging inventory to ensure order accuracy.
Role for Forklift Operator
Operate reach forklifts and cherry pickers to transport materials.
Stack and retrieve products within the warehouse.
Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure operational safety.
Maintain accurate safety logs for all machinery used.
Ensure inventory accuracy during picking and staging processes.
Adhere to all warehouse operational procedures and safety protocols.
