Physician Assistant - Radiology (Cardiac)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)  is adding a  Physician Assistant - Radiology (Cardiac)  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds.  To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Provides radiology services within scope under the supervision of an ABR-certified radiologist.
• Conducts pre-testing chart review, health history, and physical assessments.
• Documents assessment, treatment, and follow-up care in the patient record.
• Ensures continuity of care by serving as a liaison between patient and other members of the multi-disciplinary care team or with other specialty areas, as necessary.
• Participates in quality assurance programs and chart reviews through the review of records and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure. 

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
