Supplier Quality Specialist

Job Description

A validation and quality assurance provider is looking to hire a Supplier Quality Specialist for their Troy, NY project site to support a supplier quality team for a 12-month, full-time engagement.

Hourly rate $90.00

Position Summary:
We are looking for an individual with experience in supplier quality management to assist with the organization and oversight of our supplier list, documentation, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain the existing list of suppliers, including ensuring up-to-date status and the products/services each supplier provides
• Organize supplier-related data to support quality, compliance, and business objectives
• Revise and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supplier management
• Support qualification and monitoring activities for suppliers, including documentation and process review
• Participate in the issuance and tracking of SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) letters
• Provide general support for supplier quality and qualification processes
• Demonstrate strong technical writing skills and organizational abilities
• Work collaboratively with the supplier quality team and stakeholders

Ideal Qualifications:

• Prior supplier quality and/or supplier management experience
• Familiarity with qualification, monitoring, and corrective action processes
• Strong organization and technical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
