What You’ll Do- Operate pre-set machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers to produce parts according to shop orders.
- Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
- Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
- Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
- Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
- Use Spacesaver’s ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
- Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
- Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
