Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

The Electrical Engineer - Power Systems performs electrical power systems studies and analysis for industrial and utility clients. Utilizing industry standard analysis software (ETAP, SKM, etc.), the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to create study cases, analyze results, and provide detailed written reports. A strong fundamental understanding of industrial and utility power systems and calculation methods is required. Key Responsibilities System Short Circuit Studies Relay Coordination Studies Load Flow Analysis Power System Harmonics Analysis Motor Starting Studies Arc Flash Hazard Studies Relay Setting File Creation & Analysis Key Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required Working knowledge of ETAP required Familiarity with other systems analysis tools such as SKM desired 5+ Years of experience in power systems studies Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Products Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
