Quality Inspector - New Albany,OH

Overview We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to work with a leading company in the home fragrance sector in New Albany. Salary: USD19.5 - USD20.5 per hour. Shift Patterns 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm Pay Rates 19.50 - 20.50 USD hourly Essential Requirements Prefer at least 1 year as an inspector or similar position in which the individual was required to monitor and report on quality attributes of some product and/or process Able to comfortably perform basic math and dimensional or time measurement Able to use hand‑held tools such as rulers and gauges to perform inspections Able to use computers and MS Office to do basic data entry in spreadsheets, databases and paper records Soft Skills Willing and able to communicate easily with Production and other QA personnel to share pertinent information regarding quality and process issues Able to maintain a cool, calm and collected attitude in the face of delivering and receiving negative quality and process information Willing and able to help raise our collective bar in terms of team performance Willing and able to model quality behaviors and attitudes Maintain standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures Role Responsibilities Monitor and report on quality attributes of products and manufacturing processes Perform detailed inspections using hand‑held tools and measurement devices Record and enter quality data into spreadsheets and databases accurately Benefits Competitive hourly pay rate with consistent shift patterns Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment Professional growth within a leading company in the industry Location New Albany Duration Not specified #J-18808-Ljbffr Job&talent US
