Store Manager

Position Overview The Store Manager is responsible for interfacing and consulting with qualified patients and caregivers, administering approved medical marijuana products, and overseeing all dispensary operations including patient identification and registration, record retention, product tracking, and inventory control as directed by the Vice President of Regional Operations. Pay $60,000 - $75,000 plus bonus and benefits. Major Responsibilities Provide management and leadership in the dispensary, monitoring all point of sale transactions. Manage patient logs, receipt, storage, and auditing of all inventory; order new inventory and supplies; maintain accurate records. Resolve all inventory discrepancies and patient‑staff conflicts. Develop dispensary privacy policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality of patient information and compliance with HIPAA. Direct and monitor department managers to achieve plan goals, following established safety procedures. Establish methods to comply with operating plan and state regulations. Maintain records required by public health law and ensure quality assurance plans, including detecting and preventing dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling. Manage and implement policies for retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage/disposal, and reporting for adverse events and recall. Assist in implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking and surveillance of all products throughout storage, delivery, and distribution. Develop an employee‑oriented company culture emphasizing quality, continuous improvement, teamwork, and high performance. Implement HR policies and programs to support company initiatives; direct all compliance efforts to minimize risk. Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate and current. Conduct investigations into unemployment claims, EEOC, DOL, employee relation issues, and settle grievances with senior counsel. Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions. Create organizational development and employee training programs. Conduct performance reviews and monitor employee productivity. Implement HR related software systems in collaboration with IT partners. Recruit and retain top quality staff; conduct interviews and manage workforce plan. Build a quality assurance program tied to performance review process. Develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefit programs. Maintain facilities conducive to employee productivity. Provide company‑wide communication and manage change. Ensure employee safety, wellness, and health & welfare. Travel 0% FLSA Status Exempt (Full Time); Non‑Exempt (Per Diem) Additional Abilities Required Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; use hands for manual tasks; lift or move up to 10 pounds or more with assistance. Must be able to communicate verbally with co‑workers, customers, vendors, etc. Noise level is usually moderate.
