Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging, school-based setting located near Sidney, Ohio. This contract position is currently part-time with the strong possibility of expanding to full-time hours, as compensatory services may be needed for additional student support. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is projected to run through January, with a high likelihood of extension through the end of the academic year.

You’ll play a key role in enhancing communication skills for a diverse pediatric caseload, working collaboratively with educators and families. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP-CCC, a new CF looking for dynamic experience, or seeking to travel and grow professionally, this position welcomes all levels of expertise.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Ohio SLP license required (or eligibility to obtain)
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLP-CCCs are both encouraged to apply
• Experience or interest in working within pediatric and school-based settings
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services for students across various grade levels
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports, adhering to school and state guidelines
• Engage with families and educators to support student development and carryover of skills
