The Project Engineer is a position that assists the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager by managing the process of submittal approvals coordinating the timely delivery of materials maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality profitable adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm FunctionsProject Financial ResponsibilitiesPreconstruction ServicesProject Start-up and SchedulingProject Administration Coordination and Close-outPromote Customer RelationsPromote Culture Leadership and Employee DevelopmentMinimum RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Construction Science Construction Management or a related Engineering field OR 3 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator work experience or Internship experience required for this using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools such as email the internet and Microsoft products (e.g. Word Excel Office Outlook).Preferred ExperienceRFIChange ordersSubmittalsPunch-listAssisting with sub-contractor meeting minutesPrevious or current Interiors experience very helpfulThe base compensation range for the Project Engineer role in the Inland Empire listed above is $78000 - $90000 is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable.
