Residential Glazier - Lead Installer

J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Residential Glazier - Lead Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company. Responsibilities include:

• Leading in the installation of shower doors, mirrors, and many other custom glass solutions our clients trust us to provide.
• Cleaning and preparing work areas or job sites as needed or instructed
• Loading, offloading, and delivering materials to work sites
• Following instructions from the project managers
• Assisting other Lead Glaziers as needed
• Identifying and reporting issues with work material on site
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Requirements include:

• Comfort using hand and power tools
• 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience
• 2+ years of Shower Door installation experience
• Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measures
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Typical hours for this position are from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
• Overtime as required
• Must follow Company Provided uniform requirements
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
