6th-Grade Boys Volleyball Coach

Start Date Beginning of February through Beginning of April Position Summary The 6th-Grade Boys Volleyball Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supervising student-athletes in the 6th-grade boys volleyball program. This is a temporary position for the duration of the volleyball season. Key Responsibilities Plan and conduct practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship Teach volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and game rules to student-athletes Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and games Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members Attend all scheduled practices, games, and team meetings Maintain equipment and report any issues to administration Qualifications Previous experience coaching or playing volleyball preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to motivate and support young athletes Must be available for practices and games as scheduled CPR/First Aid certification preferred Reports to Athletic Director or designated school administrator Employment Type Temporary/Seasonal Location School gymnasium and game venues as scheduled Practices and games TBD Stipend $2,600.00/per season #J-18808-Ljbffr Wilmette-Public-Schools-District-39
