Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Portland, OR. The role provides engineering, clinical, and educational support to physicians and healthcare professionals, serving as a bridge between the medical community and the business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as clinical interface between medical professionals and the business
- Build and maintain credible relationships with customers and demonstrate product expertise
- Provide engineering, sales, and clinical support responding to field inquiries
- Develop and lead training sessions for healthcare professionals on CRM products
- Provide backup support to CRM Sales Representatives in the field
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related healthcare field
- Minimum 2 years related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
- Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Familiarity with catheterization laboratory and operating room protocols
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication with excellent presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC-based graphics and database software
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
