Through this position, you will have the opportunity to work with biologists, immunologists, computational biologists, machine learning specialists, and the business development team to design, execute, and disseminate data analyses leveraging single cell multi-omics for immuno-oncology and autoimmune disease research applications. Watch the video to learn more about Immunai's culture, and how the External Collaborations team is driving the next generation of oncology and immunology discoveries.Location: New York, NY (Hybrid model)Reporting to: Associate Director, Computational Biology What will you do?Drive novel research by leading computational biology efforts for industry partnership projects in immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseasesLiaise with external and internal stakeholders to define research objectives and analysis plansExecute rigorous and reproducible data analysis using state of the art statistical and ML/AI methodsMaintain close collaboration with a highly multidisciplinary internal team throughout the life cycle of each project to ensure successful deliveryClearly communicate findings to external stakeholders in the form of presentations and data reportsDevise and implement new approaches to push the boundaries of Immunai’s capabilitiesChampion Immunai core valuesRequirementsRequired qualifications:PhD (preferred in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Statistics) and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience post PhD (industry or postdoc).2-5 years experience in multi-omics data analysis including bulk and single-cell transcriptomics- a mustExpertise in current bioinformatics and computational biology tools, methods, and applications; Strong ability to develop and test data analysis code (R or Python's pandas) - a mustExpertise in distilling multi-faceted analyses into concrete conclusions with effective data visualizations and presentations - a mustExcellent verbal and written communication skills to represent Immunai to external collaborators as well as operate effectively on a diverse and collaborative internal team - a mustBackground in ML/AI - preferredExperience with AI-assisted coding (ex. cursor) - preferredBackground in cancer immunotherapy and/or autoimmune disease applications is a bonusDesired personal traits:You want to make an impact on humankindYou prioritize “We” over “I”You enjoy getting things done and striving for excellenceYou collaborate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and culturesYou have a growth mindsetYou are candid, authentic, and transparentCompensation: This position offers a base salary typically between $130,000 - $150,000.
