What You'll Be Engaging In

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, requesting necessary tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing various health issues, whether independently or in collaboration with physicians based on certification
• Empowering patients and their families through education on health promotion, disease prevention, and effective management strategies
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapeutic interventions as permitted
• Involved in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management efforts
• Working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and cohesive care
• Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
