Position Overview

The Studio Manager in Training (SMIT) is a dynamic, high-energy role designed to prepare an ambitious sales and wellness leader to fully assume the Studio Manager position upon successful completion of a structured 90-Day Training Program .

During this 90-day onboarding path, the SMIT will start by mastering foundational frontline roles—working directly alongside Wellness Sales Associates to learn studio operations, daily maintenance, and core sales processes. As training progresses, the focus shifts toward revenue generation, grassroots marketing execution, team coaching, and operational oversight, ultimately transitioning into full accountability for studio sales, marketing performance, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate is goal-driven, proactive, fluent in sales and marketing tactics, and eager to learn the beem® Light Sauna business model from the ground up.

90-Day Training Roadmap

Phase 1: Days 1–30 | Foundation & Frontline Mastery

• Role Immersion: Work shifts as a Wellness Sales Associate to master daily operations, studio opening/closing duties, cleaning and sanitation protocols, and facility maintenance.
• Product & Service Knowledge: Learn all beem® Light Sauna services, light therapy benefits, membership offerings, and retail product lines.
• Customer Journey: Execute first-class client interactions from check-in to post-sauna follow-ups, establishing high standards for customer satisfaction and retention.
• Sales Foundations: Master the beem® sales presentation, introductory scripts, objection handling, and CRM/studio software navigation.

Phase 2: Days 31–60 | Sales, Marketing & Lead Generation Execution

• Sales Mastery: Drive personal sales targets (memberships, packages, retail) through phone outreach, digital lead follow-up, and in-studio closing.
• Marketing Execution: Plan and execute local grassroots marketing initiatives, community outreach events, social media campaigns, and B2B partnership outreach.
• Associate Coaching: Begin shadow-role playing and mentoring Wellness Sales Associates on sales performance, script execution, and KPI conversion goals.
• Performance Tracking: Learn to track lead capture rates, sales conversion metrics, and ROI on localized marketing initiatives under the guidance of the Franchise Owner.

Phase 3: Days 61–90 | Operations, Leadership & Full Role Transition

• Team Leadership & Scheduling: Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and holding staff accountable to sales and cleanliness standards.
• Financial & KPI Management: Oversee sales targets, review performance reports, manage local marketing budgets, and present results to the Franchise Owner.
• Corporate Collaboration: Participate in regional/corporate sales meetings and align studio marketing with beem® Corporate strategies.
• Final Evaluation: Complete the final 90-day evaluation and transition directly into full responsibility as Studio Manager .

Core Responsibilities (Post-Training / Studio Manager Expectations)

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

• Own and consistently achieve studio sales targets across memberships, package sales, and retail revenues.
• Personally generate sales via in-studio, phone, online, and event-based channels.
• Build, manage, and optimize the complete sales funnel from lead generation to client retention.
• Train, coach, and hold Wellness Sales Associates accountable to sales scripts, conversion KPIs, and closing standards.
• Analyze monthly sales metrics to drive data-informed improvements.

Marketing Execution & Lead Generation

• Execute an ongoing, localized marketing strategy focused on new client acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Drive community outreach, in-person networking, local partnership events, and B2B referral networks.
• Oversee localized digital channels including social media posts, email outreach, and text campaigns.
• Monitor marketing spend and conversion ROI, adjusting tactics to maximize studio revenue.

Retention & Client Experience

• Implement retention strategies that boost client visit frequency, overall satisfaction, and long-term membership lifetime value.
• Maintain standard-setting client journeys across every client touchpoint.
• Address client feedback, concerns, and inquiries with professional, solution-driven communication.

Team & Studio Operations

• Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and supervise all studio staff.
• Maintain constant studio readiness including overall cleanliness, product inventory, and facility upkeep.
• Manage studio operational expenditure, local marketing budgets, and reporting.
• Collaborate regularly with the Franchise Owner and beem® Corporate Sales & Marketing teams.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of sales-driven experience, ideally within fitness, wellness, retail, or service-based industries.
• Demonstrated success in lead generation, sales follow-up, and closing new business.
• Experience executing local marketing or community engagement initiatives that produce sales results.
• Experience or strong comfort with B2B networking and partnership development.
• Ability to generate personal sales while teaching and inspiring team members to achieve sales targets.
• Comfort working in a performance-driven environment tied to clear KPI revenue goals.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the role successfully:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including opening, closing, weekend, and evening shifts as needed.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 4+ hours).
