RN Surgical/Trauma ICUWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical/Trauma ICU unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Surgical/Trauma ICU.Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and implement care plans effectively.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and side effects.Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.QualificationsCurrent BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are required.A minimum of two years of full-time staff RN experience in a Surgical/Trauma ICU at a Level I Trauma Center is required.Experience in a comparable size/type medical center (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) is highly preferred.All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission and throughout the duration of the initial contract.Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Important NotesRequested Time Off (RTO) during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days.Compliance training must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.Travelers may be required to float to other areas within their skill set based on operational needs.If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity in the Surgical/Trauma ICU.
