This LOA will support a successful Loan Officer by managing document collection, client communications, pipeline tracking, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth, efficient loan processing. What you will be doing: File Preparation & Documentation: Gather, verify, and review client financial records (income, credit, assets). Track missing items and prepare accurate loan files for submission. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between loan officers, clients, and underwriters. Deliver pipeline updates and manage scheduling. Compliance & Quality Control: Perform pre-closing file reviews to ensure full compliance with internal policies and lending regulations. Administrative Operations: Maintain electronic document filing, field client inquiries, and generate status reports. What you must have: Prior background as a Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or Loan Processor highly preferred. Related client-facing background would be considerable, such as real estate, title, or insurance work. Proficiency with Encompass loan software (ideal) and MS Office Suite (required). Strong understanding of mortgage lending guidelines and regulatory standards, ideal. Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong time management and communication skills.
