If interested in this Compounding Pharmacist position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | View email address on click.appcast.io | text View phone number on click.appcast.io Compounding Pharmacist | Details and Compensation: Location: Greensboro, NC 27407 – 100% on-site Payrate: 65.75/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Optional/possible weekend on-call Compounding Pharmacist | Summary and Highlights: The Pharmacist is responsible for safely dispensing prescription medications and providing patient consultation on medication use, dosing, side effects, and potential drug interactions. This role also supports compounding and sterile preparation activities (as required), accurate maintenance of confidential pharmacy/patient records, and collaboration with healthcare providers to identify and resolve medication-related issues. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Compounding Pharmacist | Responsibilities: Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws and pharmacy standards Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns Counsel patients on medication use, storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files Provide patient services/education as needed (e.g., smoking cessation support; education on devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters) Compound medications for internal or external use and assist with sterile preparation following proper procedures Support inventory management of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies Supervise/support pharmacy staff (pharmacy technicians, clerks, etc.) as assigned Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare practitioners regarding drug-related problems Compounding Pharmacist | Requirements: Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days License: Active Pharmacist license in North Carolina Experience: Compounding experience required (acute care and/or home infusion experience strongly preferred) Take the Next Step!
