Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,230 per week

Job Summary PCU Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse – Liberty, Missouri (64068) – 13‑week travel contract starting March 29, 2026 to June 28, 2026. The role involves 12‑hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15) for 36 hrs per week, with every other weekend and major holidays. A comprehensive 5‑day orientation is provided. Estimated weekly salary is $1,990 – $2,090. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality bedside nursing care to PCU patients during night shifts. Monitor and manage patients requiring high‑acuity drips, arterial lines, and advanced respiratory support. Perform assessments, administer medications, titrate IV drips, and respond to clinical changes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to facility protocols and quality standards. Participate in orientation and ongoing training for travel nurse assignments. Support unit staffing by floating to lesser acuity units as requested. Qualifications Minimum 1 year PCU RN experience. High‑acuity drip management experience preferable (IV drips/pumps). Arterial line experience preferable. Bipap / Airvo respiratory support experience preferable. Active RN license: Missouri or Compact RN license accepted. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Ability to float to lesser units as needed.
