Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Kidney Specialists

This position requires travel to satellite clinics in all 5 communities (Corvallis, Albany, Lebanon, Newport and Lincoln City).

• JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
  
  • Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.
• DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
  
  • The Kidney Specialists teams at Samaritan Health Services focus on creating a partnership with patients, the primary care provider and the kidney specialist. We provide consultation and treatment of chronic kidney disease at an outpatient clinic.
• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Lab/EKG experience preferred.
